2.9-Magnitude Earthquake in Lake Michigan Wednesday

There was a small, 2.9 magnitude earthquake in Lake Michigan on Wednesday. The U.S. Geological Survey said the earthquake happened about 12 and a half miles away from the Illinois coastline. There were numerous reports of it being felt across the Chicago area, and as far away as southwest Michigan. No damage or injuries were reported.
