Sweetser Sesquicentennial 08/21/2021, 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM Our town is celebrating it's 150th anniversary! There will be a parade, cruise in, over 60 artesian vendors, outhouse races & cornhole tournament ( with cash prizes), vintage baseball game with the Indy Blues & White River baseball club, 3x3 basketball tournament with Courtney Moses Delks (Miss basketball of Indiana), food vendors, live music all day with the Mississinewa Valley Swing Band, Alex Small ( Christian music) The Posse (50's- 60's) Jessie & Derek Brown (country/ Christian) & the Blue Collar Union Band ( 70's rock). The Winger Historical Museum will be open, & the time capsule from 50 years ago will be opened, hot dog eating contest & cake walk. Most of the events will take place in downtown Sweetser, Indiana at 329 N Main St (Town Hall address) on August 21 from 10:00am - 10:30pm. Outhouse races will take place on August 19 and the artesian vendors on the trail on August 15.
