NAMI Fort Wayne Education Night

At NAMI Fort Wayne, we often hear from families who are concerned about sudden changes in a loved one’s behavior. In some cases, these may be signs of First Episode Psychosis (FEP)—the first time someone experiences symptoms like hallucinations, delusions, or disorganized thinking. FEP most often begins in the teen or young adult years and can feel overwhelming. It’s important to know that psychosis is a symptom, not a diagnosis, and it can be treated.
