Hello! My name is Rebekah Freelan (but you can feel free to call me Bekah) and I’m so excited to be here as the new
Mid-Morning producer! I feel like I’ve been part of the WBCL family my entire life, since I’ve been listening to the station since I was a little girl. I can’t believe I’m now here and part of the team!
I’m a writer with a passion for women’s ministry. I love to write and teach Bible studies, and last year I had a long time dream come true when I published a devotional for the Christmas season titled
His Advent: Still His Greatest Gift. I work on new projects all the time, and I also blog daily at
Bekah’s Bits.
When I’m not writing, you can probably find me doing one of the following things: scrapbooking (I’m pretty serious about my scrapping!), taking pictures, cooking, hunting for the next perfect recipe, repainting a room in my house, rearranging the furniture, reading, drinking frappes (or any coffee, really), shopping at Cato, or planning a vacation for someday down the road.
I’m excited to see what God has in store for my new role with WBCL and Mid-Morning. He has unmistakably orchestrated this move in my life, and I am looking forward to this part of the journey.
