1 Ham

1 box dark brown sugar

2 can pinapple slices in heavy syrup (reserve syrup)

1 can Coke

1 roasting bag

toothpicks

  • Score the ham 1/2 inch on top and sides.
  • Rub with brown sugar, coating the outside of the ham thoroughly.
  • Using toothpicks, place pineapple slices on the top and sides of ham.
  • Place the ham in a roasting bag and pour pineapple syrup over the top of the ham.
  • Pour 1 can of Coke in the bottom of the bag.
  • Bake ham 325 degrees for 10-15 minutes per pound.
  • Remove pineapple slices before carving and place on the outside of serving platter.
  • Juices in the bag make wonderful ham gravy. Add salt and pepper and serve over mashed potatoes.
