Mid-Morning Weekly Schedule

Search through our archives of Mid-Morning programs below. If the audio archive is not available to Listen Online or Download, we probably still have the program audio in our offices. You can order a CD from us. To listen to the Mid-Morning shows please download the WBCL App and click on Podcats.
 Take Note!
*If you are trying to search for something in the archives, you may notice searching is currently limited. We have to make some manual adjustments to each archived show to allow it to show up in the search, so in the meantime, click "search" without typing anything in the box first...and this will bring up the full listing of shows. THEN you can type in the key word and find the program you're looking for! Our apologies for the extra step...it's just temporary!

Popular blogger Sophie Hudson {aka Boo Mama} shares a little bit of sacred sitting smack-dab in the middle of the ordinary – thoughts from her book A Little Salty to Cut the Sweet (Tyndale, ISBN# 978-1-4143-7566-3). Robin Lee Hatcher’s novel A Promise Kept (Thomas Nelson, ISBN# 978-1-4016-8765-6) peeks at a story of loss and redemption drawn in part from her own life story. John Alan Turner uncovers some of the strangest stories in the Bible – the ones that never make it into sermons – and explains how the oddest episodes reveal the consistent nature of God {Crazy Stories, Sane God, B&H, ISBN#: 978-1-4336-8128-8}. Dandi Daley Mackall returns to Mid-Morning to share her newest young adult novel: The Secrets of Tree Taylor (Knopf, ISBN# 978-0-375-86897-9). Jan Dunlap’s Saved by Gracie (Authentic, ISBN# 978-1-78078-227-0) tells how a rough and tumble rescue dog dragged her back to health, happiness and God. And we wrap up with Grace Fox’s book, Tuck-Me-In Talks With Your Little One (Harvest House, ISBN# 978-0-7369-5640-6) that encourages parents to trade bedtime stories for conversations!

Next Tuesday is National Dog Day, so we’re spending our special BLT on Wednesday paying tribute to man’s best friend. Tell us how you chose your dog’s name, a heroic thing he’s done, a funny story about life with your canine, or anything else we should know about your dog! And if you have a dog selfie…of course we hope you’ll post it on our Facebook page! We’re a day early this week, but we’ve got all the BLT tweets, pins and stories, so join us!

Susie Larson joined us last month to encourage us to mature in our faith...and to explain how maturity {and immaturity} in our faith affects every area of our lives. This month, Susie returns to Mid-Morning to explore the blessings found in a mature faith. And if spiritual maturity seems daunting, she encourages you to understand that the Holy Spirit supplies the power...our job is simply to be willing to grow up in the grace and love of Christ.
