We have dozens of free commentaries available to us with just a few keystrokes. Dozens (hundreds?) of study Bibles fill bookstore shelves, and most have helpful notes scattered on each page. Yet even with all these resources, the Bible can still be difficult to understand, which is why James Nicodem wrote the Bible Savvy series (Moody Press). In four small volumes, he created a foundational resource for those wanting to better understand the Bible. From the whole storyline of the Bible to personal application and how to live it, he’ll spend the hour touching on topics like the trustworthiness of the Bible, how to understand the tough parts, and how to apply it to YOUR life.
