Is He more interested in correcting you or connecting with you? Mike Glenn offers that God’s most powerful word, which opens our eyes to everything He does, is YES. God said yes to creating a world for us to live in and yes to inviting us into a relationship with Him. When you live in God’s “yes,” you find your identity, your true value and your unique purpose on earth. What if we learned to live in The Gospel of Yes (WaterBrook, ISBN# 978-0-307-73047-3)?

When was the last time you were overawed by God’s majesty? Have you ever stood in stunned silence at His holiness and power? In our shallow, self-centered age, things like truth and reverence might seem outdated and lost. Yet…we’re restless. Our failed attempts to ease our unrest point to an ancient ache for an experience of the holy. Drew Dyck, author of Yawning at Tigers (Thomas Nelson, ISBN# 978-1-4002-0545-5) joins us to make a compelling case that what we seek awaits us in the untamed God of Scripture…a God who is mysterious, yet powerfully present. His raw majesty, love, and power become more real and transformative than we could ever imagine.

It's believed that one in four women has experienced physical violence in an intimate relationship. Verbal, emotional, spiritual and physical abuse is often hidden by victims acting out of shame and fear. Domestic abuse survivor Karen DeArmond Gardner opens the hour by sharing her story, and pastor Ron Clark, author of Freeing the Oppressed (Cascade, ISBN# 978-1-60608-4-7), joins us to explain how those among the clergy and church can help end the cycle of abuse.
