Search through our archives of Mid-Morning programs below. If the audio archive is not available to Listen Online or Download, we probably still have the program audio in our offices. You can order a CD from us. To listen to the Mid-Morning shows please download the WBCL App and click on Podcats.
 Take Note!
*If you are trying to search for something in the archives, you may notice searching is currently limited. We have to make some manual adjustments to each archived show to allow it to show up in the search, so in the meantime, click "search" without typing anything in the box first...and this will bring up the full listing of shows. THEN you can type in the key word and find the program you're looking for! Our apologies for the extra step...it's just temporary!

Rescues take many forms. For Dann Stadler and his wife, rescue came in the Angels in the Fire (Bethany House, ISBN# 978-0-764211140) after a drunk driver crashed into their car, setting it ablaze. For the children who have lived in Rusty and Julie Bulloch’s home, rescue came in the form of a loving family willing to reach out to at-risk teens in need of love and direction. On Monday’s Mid-Morning, don’t miss the stories of ways God rescues His children in the ways they need it most.

If you’re on any form of social media…you’ve seen it. The good old #tbt…followed by scans of photos of years gone by, unearthing what you perhaps hoped would stay buried. Bleached perms…denim jumpers…shoulder pads…braces…you name it…they all come out for Throw Back Thursday.  Would you be willing to dig up some of those gems and share them with us during BLT? We’ll find the best and worst of our own #tbt days and share them with YOU! Plus our “twins and petes” {that would be pins and tweets}, stories and more!

Have you heard of vestibular disorders? Most have not, but in truth, they plague over 35% of adults over the age of 40...and a growing number of children, too. Those who suffer have chronic dizziness and imbalance problems - which can become debilitating, preventing people from carrying out basic daily functions. Dr. Scott Sanders, a specialist in vestibular disorders, will explain more about these sometimes misdiagnosed disorders and will take your questions as well!

It’s a topic that stirs up fear or hope…for most, often a bit of both: end times. Christ’s return and the judgment of all mankind inspire a holy fear and breathless anticipation. Mitch Kruse concludes his theology series with us by sharing Biblical facts we can know about an otherwise mysterious future. He’ll take your questions during the second half of his March Mid-Morning visit…with questions about this or anything else you’d like to ask!

Friday, March 14, 2014"The Gospel at Work" Host(s): Lynne Ford
Listen Now Number of listens: 0 Download File Number of downloads: 0

Many Christians fall victim to one of two main problems when it comes to work: either they are idle in their work, or they have made an idol of it. Both of these mind-sets are deadly misunderstandings of how God intends for us to think about our employment. Sebastian Traeger spends the hour with Lynne unpacking the powerful ways in which the gospel can transform how we do what we do, releasing us from pressures and help us find freedom in a work ethic rooted in serving Christ and displaying The Gospel at Work (Zondervan, ISBN# 978-0-310-51397-1).

Remember back when you were a kid? What did you want to be when you grew up? And how does it compare now to what you’re actually doing? If you could go back and give advice to yourself as a kid or teenager, what would you say? We’ll chat with you about that on a very special edition of BLT...where Miss Lynne will not be joining us and instead…we’ll have a guest host you may have heard of before: Mr. Jim Barron. {Yes, that Jim Barron.}

Inferior. Second-best. Marginalized. Christian women often view themselves negatively and feel that no matter how hard they try, they are never good enough. Suzanne Burden and Jamie Wright, co-authors of Reclaiming Eve (Beacon Hill Press, ISBN# 978-0-8341-3226-9) set the record straight during their visit to Mid-Morning. Tucked into the pages of Scripture is a blueprint for women that sets them free to serve Christ alongside their brothers, as full partners in building God’s Kingdom, and Suzanne and Jamie will explain how.
