Your church cancellation may be reported via the telephone or online system.  Please note that the telephone system can ONLY be used for standard status codes (listed below).  If you have a special cancellation (Code 110), you must use the online system. Examples of special cancellations might be "Senior Sixties breakfast cancelled" or "Basketball practice Thursday evening is cancelled".

PHONE INSTRUCTIONS: 

• Call 260-469-3551.  You will be prompted for your church ID, then your password.
• You will hear your church name and the current status (e.g., “all Sunday services cancelled” or “open”).
• You will be asked if you want to change this status.  Please respond to these prompts by keying in one of the status codes listed below.

ONLINE INSTRUCTIONS:

• Closing system site is: https://www.closings.wbcl.org (Note the https. You might want to add this to your favorites!)  We also have links to this on our Delays & Cancellations page at www.wbcl.org.
• Enter your ID and Password.
• Select CHANGE STATUS.
• STATUS CODES: 
  • Choose the appropriate code from the status code list.  If you have a unique closing, choose status 110 and then type the information in STATUS2. 
  • NOTE:  STATUS2 information can only be entered online, not via a telephone call.  Please be brief!
• END DATE/TIME: this is when your event actually starts. These "end times" remove the event from our reports so we don't read them over-the-air after the fact.
  • END DATE:  Should be the actual date of the service/activity.
  • END TIME:  Should be the start time of your service/activity. 
• Go to our Church Closings Page at (www.wbcl.org/wbclchurchclosings.asp) to verify your cancellation online.
