Throughout the year, WBCL will be putting the spotlight on some people-helping organizations in our listening area. Some might be new to you and some you may have forgotten. We encourage you to become involved with the group that touches your heart. We believe it’s the “neighborly” thing to do. (Luke 10:29-37)

Help us support the St. Peter’s Sack Lunch program. More than thirty people spend over seventy-five hours each week preparing 1,100 lunches. A typical lunch for a single person consists of a sandwich, chips, a treat and a spiritual message. Once prepared, volunteers transport the lunches on a specified route based on need throughout the city each and every Saturday. In fact, approximately 53,000 lunches are made and distributed each year to the hungry in Fort Wayne. http://www.thefranciscancenter.org
We will be at the following locations in Fort Wayne on June 19th, from 7:00am to 7:00pm collecting items for the Sack Lunch Program:
North - in the parking lot next to Kroger at 601 East DuPont Road
Northeast – in the parking lot by Wal-Mart at 10420 Maysville Road just off of I-469
Southwest – in the parking lot next to Kroger at 8801 US24 West, just off of I-69

Brown paper lunch sacks
Plastic Sandwich bags
Gallon Plastic bags
Grocery Bags
Paper napkins
Plastic ware – spoons, forks, knives etc. Wrapped as a set if possible.
Fruit rollups
Individually packed ketchup, mustard, and mayo packets
Small lunch size bags of chips
Small lunch size bags of crackers and cookies
Monetary donations are always welcome
